- Click on the name of a subscriber list
In your subscriber list dashboard, click "Custom Fields" link

You will see the list of available custom fields on your screen. If this is the first time, you will see one custom field named as "Name" as the default one. Click "Create Custom Field" tab.

Fill in the form and your custom field will be created.

- Field Name
- Enter the name of your new custom field. It will be visible to your subscribers and used every where inside your Sendloop account.
- Field Type
- Select the correct field type based on your needs
- Pre-defined Value
- If you want to display a default value to your subscriber on page load, enter it here.
- Data Type
- If the custom field is going to store only numbers, it will be better to select "Number". If it's going to store only dates, "Date" type will be the correct one. Otherwise, select "Text" type. This is important for correct campaign targeting.
Our first custom field is going to be "First Name". Therefore, we filled in the form just like the one below:

Our second custom field will store the gender of the subscriber. Therefore, a similar custom field like the following one will be created:

Quick Tip: If you are creating a custom field as "Multiple Choice", "Drop Down" or "Check Boxes", there will be a radio button/check before before option values. If you check any of them, they will be selected as default on form load:
