Our History

Sendloop has been founded by Cem and Mert Hurturk brothers in 2008. Cem and Mert Hurturk brothers are successful entrepreneurs who founded Octeth in 1999 — the most popular self-hosted email marketing software all around the world –, founded PreviewMyEmail — email analytics and inbox preview service for ESPs — and got acquired by SMTP, Inc. in 2013.

In December 2014, a group of local investors acquired 40% of the shares and became partners.

Our Timeline in Email Marketing

It's been 25 years since we have become email marketing enthusiasts.

1999

The journey begins

Octeth

We built our first email marketing software and got our first customer from Hong Kong. Our new company name was Octeth. It was one of the first enterprise level on-premise email marketing software at that time. We are still running Octeth and it has more than 20,000 customers in 150+ countries.
2003

Mailium was born

Mailium

Based on the success of Octeth, we built a very simple yet powerful on-premise email marketing software for individuals and email marketers. West Coast Choppers and several other companies started using Mailium for their simple email marketing needs.
2008

Sendloop was born

Sendloop

After many successful years in on-premise email marketing category, we built software-as-a-service email marketing solution for small businesses and called it Sendloop. It’s an easy-to-use, self-service email marketing solution for all kind of small businesses. As of November 2018, it has 110,000+ users from 100+ countries. Billions of emails and ten thousands of email campaigns are being delivered every month through Sendloop.
2009

PreviewMyEmail was born

PreviewMyEmail

We built a real-time email analytics and inbox preview service for email marketing services such as Sendloop, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor and others. It was the fastest and robust inbox preview tool for ESPs at that time. It’s acquired by SMTP, Inc.
2011

SenderSuite was born

SenderSuite

In addition to email marketing solutions we provide, we built a transactional email gateway service for e-commerce and other companies who need a reliable email gateway to deliver emails.
2013

PreviewMyEmail acquired

PreviewMyEmail Acquired

Our email analytics and inbox preview service are acquired by SMTP, Inc.
2014

Investors joined

Investors joined Sendloop

A group of investors purchased 40% of Sendloop and joined our company.
2015

SenderSuite merged

SenderSuite merged into Sendloop

SenderSuite became a feature of Sendloop and merged into the Sendloop platform.

Sendloop is available in 10 languages

In addition to the default language English, Sendloop can be used with German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, and Greek languages.

Sendloop App Store released

Third-party services and developers can build new features and extend the functionalities of Sendloop and reach ten thousand of Sendloop users through the Sendloop App Store marketplace.
